Heatherdowns Automotive Service is a complete automotive repair facility with four full time ASE certified technicians, service writer, manager, and two office personnel to assist you with your automotive needs.

Heatherdowns Automotive is committed to providing our customers with value added service, to repair your automobiles right the first time, to be honest, trustworthy, and friendly to all customers.

Two partners, Jim Baldwin and Bob Griggs, started Heatherdowns Automotive Service as a family owned business. They started their business in a rented building on Tedrow in 1961. A short time later they bought the property on the corner of Stengle and South Byrne Rd., its current location. They incorporated the business in 1974. Bob retired from the business in 1985. Jim retired and sold the business to Jeff Bucher in 1997. Jeff had been working as a technician at Heatherdowns Auto since 1971.

Long time employee Mike Kamcza bought the business from Jeff in 2013 and still offers the same great service with all our longtime employees. We look forward to continuing our tradition of family service with honesty and integrity.

Heatherdowns Automotive hires trained technicians and mechanics who are willing to stay on top of the latest technology in the automotive repair industry through continued training. The shop takes pride in being up to date, clean and as efficient as possible while getting your car, truck or SUV in and out as quickly as possible.
